This page explains what information liranzablo.com collects, how it's used, and who it's shared with. If anything here is unclear, email me directly at liran@liranzablo.com.
Information collected through the newsletter
When you sign up for the newsletter, you submit your email address through a form on this site. That submission is sent directly to Kit (formerly ConvertKit), the third-party email service I use to send the newsletter and manage the subscriber list. Kit stores your email address and your interactions with the newsletter (such as opens, clicks, and subscription status) under its own privacy and data practices.
Information sent through direct email
If you email me directly, at liran@liranzablo.com or through a mailto link on this site, I receive whatever information you choose to include in that email, such as your email address, name, and message content. I use this only to read and respond to you.
Analytics and cookies
This site uses Google Analytics (via Google's gtag.js) to understand overall site traffic, such as which pages are visited and roughly how visitors found the site. Google Analytics may set cookies in your browser to support this measurement. I don't use this data to identify individual visitors, and I don't combine it with your newsletter or email information.
This site also uses the OpenAI Pixel to measure the results of ads I run on ChatGPT. It loads a script from OpenAI that reports visits to pages on this site, so OpenAI can tell whether someone who saw or clicked an ad later came here. The pixel may set cookies or use similar identifiers in your browser, and the information it collects is handled by OpenAI under its own privacy and data practices. I don't combine it with your newsletter or email information.
No other tracking, advertising, or third-party analytics tools are used on this site.
How information is used
Newsletter email addresses are used only to send the newsletter and related updates, and to manage the subscriber list through Kit. Direct emails are used only to read and reply to your message. Analytics and ad measurement data is used only in aggregate, to understand how the site is used, to improve it, and to see how ads perform.
Your newsletter and email information is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for advertising purposes. The only data shared for advertising is the page visit information collected by the OpenAI Pixel, as described above.
Unsubscribing or requesting deletion
Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time with one click. If you'd like your data removed from the newsletter list entirely, or have any other privacy question or request, email liran@liranzablo.com and I'll take care of it.
