YouTube consulting for businesses

YouTube Consultant for Businesses

If your team is investing in YouTube, I can help you figure out what to publish, what to change, and how to get more from the channel.

I built and led AutoDS's YouTube operation from a few thousand subscribers to more than 400K, generating over 18M views while working inside the business.

When outside help makes sense

You may need outside YouTube help if...

  1. You're publishing, but the channel isn't moving.

Videos are going out, but views, watch time, subscribers, or business results aren't growing with the effort going in.

  2. Some videos work. Most don't.

A few videos break out, but there isn't an obvious reason why, or a reliable way to repeat it.

  3. You're about to invest more in YouTube.

More people, more production, or a bigger budget makes it more important to know the channel is heading in the right direction.

  4. Your team can make the videos, but nobody owns the YouTube strategy.

You have writers, editors, designers, or producers. What you're missing is someone with enough YouTube experience to challenge the direction and spot what needs to change.

  5. You're starting from scratch.

You want to avoid spending months publishing videos before discovering the basic strategy was wrong.

What we can work on

The parts of YouTube that usually make the biggest difference

Channel direction

Who the channel is for, what role it plays in the business, and what kinds of videos are worth making.

Topics & research

Finding ideas with real audience demand and a reason for your business to publish them.

Titles & thumbnails

Packaging videos so the right people understand why they should click.

Video structure & retention

Finding where viewers lose interest and what should change in future videos.

Analytics

Using channel data to decide what to keep doing, what to stop, and what is worth testing.

Team & workflow

Making research, scripting, filming, editing, and review work better together.

Why me

I built this from inside the business.

When I took over AutoDS's YouTube channel, it had only a few thousand subscribers and growth was slow.

I became the face of the channel and took responsibility for the full process, from research and scripting to production, packaging, analytics, and the team behind it.

Today, AutoDS has more than 400K YouTube subscribers and 18M+ views.

Turns out, Liran does it far better than I ever did.

Choosing the right kind of help

Consultant, agency, or in-house?

They solve different problems.

YouTube Consultant

Best when your team can make the videos, but you want senior YouTube experience guiding the direction and challenging the decisions.

YouTube Agency

Best when you need an outside team to produce and manage most or all of the channel for you.

In-House YouTube Lead

Best when YouTube has enough ongoing work to justify a dedicated senior person full-time.

My role is usually closest to the first one. I work with your existing team rather than replacing it.

The process

How it works

  1. 1

Send me your channel and context

Tell me what you're doing now, who's involved, and what you're trying to improve.

  2. 2

    I review the relevant material

Depending on the engagement, that may include the channel, videos, analytics, competitors, and anything your team has already prepared.

  3. 3

We work through your actual channel

The conversation is built around your situation rather than a generic presentation.

  4. 4

You leave with what to do next

You get a practical list of what to change, test, or keep doing.

Who I work with

I mainly work with businesses and internal marketing teams using YouTube to build an audience, create demand, educate customers, or support acquisition.

That can include SaaS, ecommerce, B2B, education, founder-led businesses, and other companies where YouTube has a real role to play.

FAQ

Common questions about YouTube consulting

What does a YouTube consultant do?

A YouTube consultant helps you make better decisions about the channel without taking over your entire production team. That can include channel strategy, topics, titles and thumbnails, retention, analytics, and how the team works together.

Can you help if we're starting a new YouTube channel?

Yes. Starting early can actually be useful because we can work through the audience, positioning, content ideas, and production approach before your team spends months publishing in the wrong direction.

Can you help an existing channel that's stopped growing?

Yes. That's one of the most useful situations to review. We can look at what's been published, where viewers are responding, where they're dropping off, how videos are packaged, and what has changed over time.

Do you work with creators or only businesses?

My main focus is businesses and internal teams. I may also work with established creators when the situation is a good fit.

Do you need access to our YouTube analytics?

Not always for an initial strategy session. For a deeper audit or ongoing advisory, access to the relevant analytics or exported data makes the review much more useful.

Do you help with titles and thumbnails?

Yes. Titles and thumbnails are a major part of YouTube strategy, and I regularly review packaging alongside topics, retention, and performance.

Do you produce or edit the videos?

Usually not. I work with your existing team or production partner and help guide the strategy, creative decisions, and performance reviews behind the videos.

How much does YouTube consulting cost?

It depends on the level of help you need. A one-off strategy session is a smaller engagement than a full channel audit or ongoing advisory. Send me your channel and context and I'll recommend the smallest engagement that makes sense.
